Today I cut up one of the pumpkins and put it in the north chicken yard.  They watched me walk with it and were all excited, not really knowing just what it was.  I sat it down and the brave one, Hester checked it out first, soon all were looking inside and having a little bite.  It looks like it will be a big success.  What would they do with a big Hubbard squash?  I am cooking up the holes I cut up and will have enough to freeze for a pumpkin pie this fall.

I am also freezing peppers that I picked up at the farm stand the other day.  I think that I now have enough to get me through the winter.

                                                                                                         WOOL PUMPKIN WALL HANGING

Today I worked on the wall hanging and it is much more work than I expected.  Every single thing is hand sewed.  I am only part way done, and have the top and the bottom to make plus the rest of the sewing.                                                             Hope you have a wonderful day and many thanks for reading my blog
